Krakatoa day trip

The volcano that was heard three thousand kilometres away.

Anak Krakatau — the child of Krakatoa — rose from the caldera left by the 1883 eruption and is still growing. Ninety minutes by speedboat across the Sunda Strait, a walk up the black ash slope as far as the exclusion zone allows, and a swim off the black sand beach on the way back.

Weather and volcano

This trip depends on the sea and, for Krakatoa, on the volcano's alert level set by the Indonesian authorities. If it cannot run safely, we move it to another day of your stay or refund it in full. No argument, no fee.
